Checklist for Customer Parts

This checklist is part of the main article Requirements for Customer Parts and is intended to serve as support for shipping to our customers.

Before delivery, please use this checklist to ensure that your customer parts are optimally prepared for Newmatik.

In a nutshell – whats most important

  • Customer article number and counted quantity on each container (reel, stick, cut-tape, tray).
  • SMD components cannot be accepted as bulk material.

If these minimum requirements are not met, the material cannot be processed by us and must be returned to the customer.

1
Delivery note with customer item numbers and total quantities.
2
Include Newmatik material request number ("MREQ") for requested missing parts.
3
In case of providing parts for an order, indicate the order confirmation number ("SO").
4
Customer part number and quantity on each part (reel, cut-tape, stick, tray).
5
Components marked with correct customer part number.
6
Part quantities counted.
7
Excess consumption accounted for and delivered (see below).
8
SMD components not supplied in bulk.
9
Quantity specified on each stick.
10
Parts in correct stick size.
11
Components in stick have correct polarity (direction in stick).
12
Bundle sticks with same material.
13
Label moisture-sensitive components.
14
"Moisture Sensitivity Level" (MSL 1 to 6) indicated.
15
Moisture sensitive components dried, otherwise clear information "must be dried by Newmatik".

Extra consumption depending on SMD package:

  • Very small chip packages (e.g. 0201, 0402): 2.0% + 10 pcs.
  • Small chip packages (e.g. 0603, 0805, 1206, Micromelf): 1.0% + 5 pcs.
  • Small diodes (e.g. SOD532, SOD323, SOD12): 1.0% + 5 pcs.
  • Small IC packages (e.g. SOT23, SOT23-5, SC70): 0.5% + 3 pcs.

Example: Package type 0805 in 2 orders of 250 pieces each = 500 pieces actual requirement quantity + excess consumption of 15 pieces (500 x 1% = 5 pieces + 5 pieces + 5 pieces) = delivery quantity of 515 pieces.
